Crew members and officers that served on board the USS Ranger could have been infected with asbestos, which is a highly toxic material when not used properly and there are large amounts of asbestos materials on board aircraft carriers. These materials can be damaged easily and could have been inhaled by anyone. Even the smallest asbestos fibers can cause health problems. If exposed for long periods of time to asbestos, the damage can be more severe, leading even to mesothelioma cancer.
Exposure to asbestos, as mentioned above, only occurs in uncontrolled environments, and because the contractor does not provide with the required protective equipment. In this situation you can contact an attorney and provide him with all the details and documents required by law.
