Asbestos USS Washington caused disease

All the people that worked, repaired or upgraded the USS Washington were constantly exposed to asbestos because of the many materials used to construct the battleship. The crew constantly on board the ship also received a consistent dose of asbestos due to the fact that materials containing the harmful mineral were damaged regularly. Fortunately, none of these people reported any kind of health problems that could have been related to asbestos exposure.
