Asbestos USS Wisconsin caused disease

The crew and officers on board the USS Wisconsin were supposedly exposed to the highest amounts of asbestos in the entire Second World War 2 US Navy fleet. That has not been tested, but several former crew members accused symptoms similar to those of asbestos related diseases. The exposure was done by asbestos materials damaged on board the USS Wisconsin. Only one former crew member died after suffering from what is believed to have been an asbestos related disease. As stated above, there are no official records of these diseases.
