Even if the USS Minneapolis was built using the modern technology available, the need of using asbestos materials remained. On so called “asbestos cruise” it was created a very dangerous environment in the way that when damaged, these materials released airborne asbestos fibers. People nearby swallow or inhale these fibers resulting, most of the times, in serious health problems. It is important to have complete exam, especially for former crew members of United States Navy ships. Remember to use appropriate prevention measures.
It is very important to know that the law is on your side in the case of wrongful exposure to asbestos on board of Minneapolis. Contact a specialized attorney after you have visited a doctor and received a complete diagnosis sheet. Explain your situation to your lawyer and provide him or her with all the needed documents and information. Your lawyer will then file the claim in your name, at which point you are only one step away from receiving an important amount as compensation, allowing you to pay for the most effective methods of treatment available.
