USS Gary was a Buckley-class destroyer escort laid down on January 16, 1943 and launched on May 1, the same year. It was transferred to the United Kingdom on August 4 and renamed HMS Duckworth, K351. After the war ended, the ship was transferred to the US Navy and was scrapped in 1946.
